Miracles For Sale

Derren Brown is widely known in Britain for his illusions, art, and general skepticism.  In this fantastic documentary Derren exercises his avid skepticism by attempting to expose the manipulative and excessively prevalent (especially in the U.S.) fraud that is faith-healing.  In order to pull this off, he decides to find a normal guy off the street and train him to be a faith healer.  His goal is to train this person to be so convincing that a real audience of the faithful would not be able to notice.  Could this ordinary man trained to dupe his crowd into believing that he is legitimate pull off the so-called miracles purported to take place during “real” faith-healing sermons?

The answer is yes.  Watch the entire documentary below; it’s fantastic!
